A more recent creation by Jeff Dawson of Sebastopol, CA in 2000. It was from a natural cross of Green Zebra and an unknown black tomato.
This is a beautiful 3-4 oz purpley dark tomato with metallic green stripes. Lovely in a salad with Green Zebra. Some people love the flavor and some don’t. You’ll have to try it to decide for yourself. The flesh is very dark so it also makes a wonderful addition to sauces to deepen the color and many grow it just for that reason. Plants are vigorous and have good production.
