Many hybrids have been de-hybridized so we can save seeds from them unlike saving seeds from hybrids. Some plant companies even call varieties "hybrid" that really are not. Thanks to the person who put all that work into saving this one!
This is a de-hybridized version of the original hybrid. It looks the same and has that same great flavor. Meaty, yet juicy – it is great in salads. It also can be canned whole. Most fruit are about 2” in size and just keep coming. It produces nice sized trusses of 9+ fruit and the vine itself is fairly compact.
