- First offered in the Seed Savers 1988 Yearbook by MD MO L, who purchased seeds from a CV in 1984.
This is a very nice, fairly early, red paste tomato that has excellent production. It is a determinate plant so nice for getting large amounts of tomatoes at a time to process. Fruit are 3-4 oz, plum shaped and very meaty. They hold well off the vine. I got my seeds from Italy where it is popular as it quite heat tolerant. It is a little earlier than Roma and a touch sweeter.
