Gary 'OSena

Lovely large tomato, 12- 18 oz, with very good production that is a fairly recent creation. It has two well know parents – Brandywine and Cherokee Purple and you can taste the result – Yummy. It has quickly become a favorite of many tomato aficionados. The color is a nice dark pinky purple and matures very early for such a large tomato, usually 70 – 80 days.

It was bred by Keith Mueller of MO and named for his grandmother. And yes, the ‘ is before the O in her name. Susan Anderson(TX AN S)and Robbins Hail (MO HA R2) introduced it to SSE in 2007 and Sand Hill Preservation Center introduced it commercially in 2009.
