Indigo Blue Berries

Wow, these berries are beautiful. One of the newly released, open pollinated tomatoes containing high levels of anthocyanin, a naturally occurring antioxidant found in blueberries, and reported to combat disease.

Berries are amethyst in color that ripen to a lovely deep, deep purple, almost black where the sun hits and a dark, brick red where they are shaded. Watch for this deep red to develop before picking for best flavor. Fruits are about 1” in size and have a very good, sweet, almost plum like flavor. They are very prolific on extremely vigorous vines.. I am proud to carry these brand new tomatoes!
