Large Barred Boar

Here is another great tomato from Brad Gates. It is rated very high for flavor and production. Fruit are a pinky brown with metallic green stripes in a flattened beefsteak form. They average around 8-12 oz. Flesh inside is dark pink and very meaty with a rich and intense flavor. Plants are more compact in form than most indeterminates with very good production.

Story:

Brad said this originated from a Black and Brown Boar and was the only tomato of this type in a row of 200 plants. It was the first large striped tomato he had ever seen.
