Developed at the Morden Experimental Farms (Manitoba, Canada) in 1956, Manitoba was developed to be tolerant of the cold Canadian conditions.
While it is a little later than most early varieties, Manitoba bears many red, 6-8 oz, firm and tangy tomatoes. It is both cold and disease resistant.
