Mrs. Houseworth

A nice smaller heart shaped pink tomato of varying sizes. Some are 3-4”, some smaller. Fruit are nice and meaty with very few seeds and have excellent flavor. The shoulders do have some coloring- green and yellow- on them. Nice production.

Story:

A family heirloom from Meairl Houseworth from Centerville, Pennsylvania. Originally brought from Italy in the 1950’s it was the only tomato they grew. The family believes these were the tomatoes her husband grew for Heinz in the 1970’s for making ketchup. It was introduced by TomatoFest in 2006.
