Pink Siberian Tiger

A stunning, large pink beefsteak with anthocyanin shoulders and striping that bleeds down the sides of the fruit. Fruit average 8-12 oz and have a very nice, well balanced flavor leaning toward the sweet side. Great production.

Story:

Mark McCaslin of Frogsleap Farm crossed OSU and Beauty King to create this one. Blane Horton and Dean Slater grew out some and found a red/orange fruit with stripes that people began calling Siberian Tiger. Karen Golden of Michigan Heirlooms received some of those seeds and grew out and stabilized her selection which is pink and named it Pink Siberian Tiger.
