Story:
This is an heirloom from Poland brought to New York in the 1800’s.
This tomato has been around for a very long time. You can tell a good variety when people keep seeds from generation to generation as long as they have with this one. A nice sized paste tomato, it averages 3-4 inches long and 7-10 oz. Fruit have a nice meaty, dry texture so desirable in pastes. It is known for making flavorful sauce. Plants have good production and tend to ripen a bunch at a time and go on to produce more. Plants do have the same wispy leaf habit that hearts have. A very nice paste tomato.
