Story:
From Tatiana’s TOMATObase:
- Commercial variety from Russia. According to some Russian sources, this tomato was also registered as Kolokola Rossii in 2000. ('Russian Bells').
My grandma lived in Florida and I associate pink flamingos with her because she had them in her bathroom and we would go see them at the typical tourist attractions back in the 60’s. So, in her memory, I couldn’t resist growing this tomato. This is a small plant suitable for planting in pots but will also do fine in the ground. Fruit are plum shaped and a raspberry pink in color. They are quite meaty and about 4-5 oz with a very nice flavor.
