Story:

From Tatiana’s TOMATObase:

  • a.k.a 'Santa Sweets', it was originally a hybrid, but 99% of F2s came true. Introduced to the United States market in 1997 by grower Andrew Chu, who obtained them from the breeder, Taiwan's Known-You Seed Co, though the majority of the production is by a company called Procacci Brothers, who market them as "Santa Sweets". They are believed to originate in Southeast Asia, and in some parts of Thailand are eaten as bar snacks.
