Story:
Discovered on an abandoned farm in Northern Michigan by Dean Slater of Copemish, MI while hunting in 1999. He grew this out for over 10 years to stabilize it and named it after his mother, Beverley G. Slater (Peters).
This is a lovely, orange, plum shaped cherry with amazing sweet flavor. The fruit can sometime be lighter in color depending on weather. The plants are vigorous and very productive. These are lovely in a bowl of mixed cherries. I love that this is one with a Michigan story.
