Talavera Native

A rare beautiful pink, flattened and ribbed tomato with green shoulders. The plants are small, great for containers, but produce fairly large 8 oz fruit with delicious, sweet flavor with just a touch of the acidic. The skin is pretty thin and has a nice ratio of flesh to gel. It is moderately productive, pretty early and worth growing.

Story:

My seed source got them from someone who received them (but never grew them out) from Dan McMurray, a famous, now deceased, seed collector from Canada who traded with many people. They are originally from the Philippines.
