White Beauty aka Snowball

An unusual white tomato both inside and out! When fully ripe, it will turn creamy - and may have a slight pink blush. Slightly flattened fruit are very smooth, about 8-12 oz (can grow larger), and have a nice mild but sweet flavor with fruity hints.

Great for slicing and making a white tomato sauce from because they are quite meaty. Plants have good production all season long.

Story:

This tomato has been around in the mid 1800’s. Now that’s a heirloom tomato!  In 1927 Isbell’s Seed Co., of Jackson, Michigan, said that this was the best white variety that they had ever grown. Some sources say it may have been introduced as early as 1850.
